Cellar Barbolini Casinalbo Modena. Emilia Romagna
Established back in 1889, the Barbolini firm - previously known as casale degli Albini - is located in the last plot of land in the district of Modena, just before the Apennines and Garfagnana. Egidio Barbolini, the founder, established his firm in this area for its sweltering summer and harsh winter weather, which made it particularly suitable for the production of traditional balsamic vinegar. Nowadays, in its 35 hectares of arable land, the firm also produces a range of high-end range Lambrusco wines having invested a significant amount of resources in the development of its wine growing and production facilities.
€ 8,30 per bottle (box of 6 bottles)purple red color and intense perfume of violet, mulberry and blueberry. Red fruit. The taste is dry, morbid and fresh, very pleasant to drink, with just a hint of tannic flavor and a quite long, fruity end-note. Try it with sausages and beans.
